Role Summary:

Daktronics is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to close a gap identified across our marketing assessment: no single source of truth exists across the market segments and martech stack, hand-offs are manual, and there is no consolidated view of marketing budgets or project status. The Marketing Project Manager owns end-to-end marketing project management, coordinates every functional team toward shared deadlines, manages budget lines with discipline, and builds the centralized repository that keeps the entire marketing organization visible, accountable, and on schedule.

Why this Role Matters:

Marketing project management is a distinct discipline, and the most effective marketing organizations treat it that way rather than leaving coordination to whoever has bandwidth. A project manager's real value comes from replacing fragmented spreadsheets and email threads with one centralized, single source of truth, then using it to track budgets, coordinate teams, and surface issues before they become problems.

Today, the marketing function has no single source of truth, manual hand-offs are common, and multiple disconnected tools make it hard to see the full picture of what's in motion. The Marketing Project Manager role fixes that: one accountable owner for marketing project management, cross-functional coordination, budget discipline, and a centralized repository that finally gives Marketing visibility into everything it's running.

What will the work look like for me?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Centralized Repository & Systems
    • Build and maintain a centralized repository of record for all marketing projects, assets, and initiatives replacing fragmented spreadsheets and email threads with one source of truth.

    • Standardize intake, briefing, and approval processes across the marketing organization.
  • Team Growth & Culture
