What will the work look like for me?
The Installation Supervisor effectively manages the job site by planning, delegating, and communicating with subcontractors that are hired by our internal Project Managers interfacing with general contractors and customers in the Live Events and International business units. The installation supervisors also coordinate with the Project Manager and the onsite customer to aid with the preparation and facilitation of the installation plan.
- Your schedule will vary based on project timelines and customer needs.
- Traveling or working on site 80-85 percent of the time; durations may vary, with extended stays on-site common. You’ll typically return home every two to three weeks depending on project schedules and business needs. Most work will occur Monday–Friday, but some nights and weekends will be required.
- Last-minute scheduling changes may occur to meet customer or project demands.

- You’ll lead onsite teams, coordinate installation activities, and ensure project success.
Installation Supervision:
- Coordination of shipping schedule with project manager and installation subcontractor (prior to shipment).
- Attend site meetings as required.
- Confer with project manager and Commissioning Coordinator on project installation details-problems that arise during installation. Also communicate with project manager on installation goals and progress including feedback on subcontractor performances.
- Perform inventories upon shipping arrival to ensure no work stoppages.
- Complete contract feedback forms and Daily Summary Reports.
- Monitor and enforce safety rules and regulations and make corrections when needed.
- Manage risk assessment, incident reports, and other safety documents as the project requires.
- Responsible for making sure the daily work is well laid out and parts and equipment are available for people to complete work.
- Establish project plan and share with all stakeholders to monitor the schedule to meet the daily, weekly, and project milestone dates.
- Track project progress and make necessary changes to working crews to adhere to project schedule through construction management software.
- Provide daily summary report through construction management software.
- Provide on-site technical support which may include terminating fiber, field repair, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance training, and coordination with subcontractors.
- Document and provide feedback to all engineering product design and manufacturing groups at Daktronics.
General:
- Work effectively as a team member.
- Follow Company guidelines, policies, OSHA standards, and philosophy.
- Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet customer and department expectations.
Where is this opportunity located?
- Your office will be at your home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- You will travel by air to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally to lead and support installation projects.
- When not on a customer site, you’ll work from your home office to:
- Prepare for upcoming installations.
- Coordinate logistics.
- Support project planning and communication.
