When will I work?
- 5/8 Schedule, Primary Schedule – The primary work hours for this position are 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed.
Where is this opportunity located?
Position located in Brookings, South Dakota in our Facilities department.
What will the work look like for me?
Daily:
- Empty all wastebaskets and other designated receptacles and dispose of in proper receptacle provided by building. Will pick up trash outside and dispose properly.
- Spot clean glass doors and partition glass in building entries.
- Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
- Vacuum all carpeting general and executive offices, lobbies, and hallways.
- Spot clean carpet to remove soiled spots.
- Dust mop or damp mop resilient tiled floor as needed.
- Sweep, dust mop, or damp mop entry floors as needed.
- Clean factory warehouse aisle ways.
- Properly clean and dispose of biohazard as needed.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities.
Monthly:
- Remove desk chair mats and vacuum underneath.
General:
- Properly arrange office furniture in offices upon completion of work.
- Leave only designated night lights on and check doors.
- Maintain janitor’s closets in neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned to keep facilities clean.
- Become knowledgeable and follow company policies and procedures.
- Attend Blood Borne Pathogen training and other required training sessions as necessary for position.
- Regularly and reliable work the scheduled hours. Ability to work overtime when need arises.
- Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include the following safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, electrostatic discharge wear, and others as determined necessary by Daktronics Risk and Safety Department.
