What will the work look like for me?

As a Component Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our global item data for purchased parts. Your work will be fast-paced, detail-intensive, and highly collaborative, requiring sharp judgment, strong execution, and a passion for process excellence.

 

You’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring data quality, driving standardization, and supporting compliance across our internal systems.

 

Specific responsibilities and experiences may include:

  • Standardization & Consolidation: Evaluate part requests globally to ensure consistency within commodity/product codes and Windchill attributes and to reduce duplication.
  • AVL Data Management: Maintain high-quality data for approved vendor lists (AVLs) to ensure alignment with commodity strategies.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure system records meet SOX and environmental standards, including RoHS compliance documentation.
  • Process Ownership & Improvement:
    • Lead the creation and modification of purchase items and AVL process workflows.
    • Apply lean methodologies to streamline workflows.
    • Develop and track metrics to monitor process effectiveness.
  • Lifecycle Strategy Support: Collaborate on strategies for managing the lifecycle of purchased items.
  • Flexible Support: Take on additional duties as assigned and needed to meet evolving customer and departmental needs.

Where is this opportunity located? 

Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. remote or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates.

 

When will I work?

The primary work hours for this position are Monday – Friday. The exact working hours are flexible, but this position will be based on working during regular business hours in the Central Time Zone.

 

What are the pay and perks?

The typical hiring range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour based on the location of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Component Analyst position, we require the following:

  • Two-year Associate degree in engineering, science, or technical related fields is required. Equivalent Daktronics experience may also qualify.
