We currently have an opening on the following shift:
6:00am-6:00pm, Thursday - Saturday (3 days per week, 12-hour days)
The Metal Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of computer-controlled machines such as CNC Metal Punch, Press Breaks, as well as an Inserter which includes a $3.00/hr. skill increment ontop of base pay. This position requires working with minimal supervision, utilizing a number of tools and precision measuring instruments, following blueprints/instructions, and performing some basic math calculations. We are looking for people with good communication skills who can learn quickly, exhibit flexibility, and be effective team players.
We value prior experience in a manufacturing environment or operating similar metal machines; welding is not required in this position. Experience with overhead cranes and/or forklift is appreciated but not required. We will provide on-the-job training and/or certification.
