Where is this opportunity located? 

Position located in Brookings, S.D. This position is open to candidates eligible to work in the U.S.

Pay and perks: 

The typical hiring pay for this position is $13.50 to $14.25. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education/experiences.  

  

Students with GPA of 3.5 and above are eligible for a $500 bonus (Academic Excellence Reward) each semester completed while employed.  

  

This position will be eligible for company benefits including, employee discount program, employee assistance program, community donation program, unpaid time off, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, leaves, disability, and accommodations.

Qualifications

Academic Requirements: 

  • The preferred candidate will be a student currently registered for at least 12 credits and enrolled in accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Consumer Affairs, Business, Economics, or related programs. 
  • The preferred c andidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school. 
  • Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered. 
  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA. 
  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.   

Other Requirements:  

  • Applicants should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.   
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.    
  • Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and strong need to work as a team player.  Attention to details is a must.  
  • Enthusiasm for learning and working on new projects and flexibility to ever-changing priorities and responsibilities.  
  • General computer skills including accurate keyboarding skills and ability to learn and navigate new software and tools.  
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
