They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.


    Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:45am-4:15pm


    As a feeder department Corporate Electronic Assembly Department is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of electronic component assemblies to the final assembly departments.

    • Troubleshoot and repair products within each of the work cell areas with attention to detail and with an emphasis on quality.
      • Product repairs to include troubleshooting and/or component replacements on a modular and PCB level.
      • Repair Daktronics customer equipment RMA parts and maintain exchange inventories.
    • Organize and keep updated product work cells for maintaining efficient product throughput.
    • Complete proper test documentation for repairing testing products.
    • Help generate replacement part orders for shipments.
    • Effectively train/mentor student technicians and others as needed.
    • May travel to a customer site for on-site repair.
    • Be actively involved in lean efforts including 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) implementation ensuring adherence to lean process standards and making and implementing suggestions for product and process improvement.
    • Work effectively as a team member yet work with little supervision.
    • Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet customer and/or business unit expectations.


    • Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or related major. Will also consider a current Daktronics employee pursuing their Associates degree with production experience. 
    • Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team yet work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to learn quickly and on the fly.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to
      • Have manual dexterity to work with very small parts with repetition
      • Lift and carry heavy (up to 50 pounds) and/or awkward items
      • Reach in all directions potentially in awkward positions
      • Work while standing or sitting for extended periods of time
      • Work with some odors (solder/paint/coating material etc.)
      • Distinguish and identify colors (wires paint etc.)
    • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
    • Entry level computer skills to use software such as Glovia, Workcell Manager or Excel.
    • Background Check will be conducted.
    • Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid drivers license and good driving record. Motor vehicle record may be checked.
