  • Responsibilities

    Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports, train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.
    This is an ongoing temporary position. Hours worked each week will be dependent upon the workload. 
    This position will focus on the support, sales, and training of both the DakStats family of statistical software and Daktronics display interfaces.  The position will primarily involve the phone, online and email support for software customers ranging from high schools to professional sports.
    • Assist in the product support of DakStats products and services.
    • Work with internal and external customers to answer questions, troubleshoot, train, and resolve problems.
    • Assist in the support, marketing and sales of Sport Software products and services to college and professional teams.
    • Assist with managing orders, software registration, and product support for all sport software products and services.
    • Assist in the development of training programs for Sport Software.
    • Assist in the development of technical specifications and manuals, such as “Quick Start Guides.”
    • Participate in the design, implementation, and release of new software features.
    • Assist in content generation and maintenance for www.dakstats.com.
    • Work effectively as a team member; work with minimal supervision; make suggestions for process and product improvement.
    • Complete quality work in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills when corresponding to customers on the phone or writing and/or interacting with co-workers.
    • Be at work on time and maintain good attendance.
    • Follow company guidelines, policies, and philosophy.


    • An Associate's degree
    • Avid interest in supporting and marketing in a variety of applications.
    • Good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, good troubleshooting/problem solving skills, and self-motivation.
    • Basic computer skill using Word, Excel and Access.
    • Experience or knowledge of Daktronics products is preferred.
    • Customer service experience is preferred.
    • Interest and knowledge of sports and statistics is preferred.
    • Must be available to work 10:00AM-2:00PM, Monday-Friday.
    • Background check may be conducted.
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
