    ADFLOW Networks, a Daktronics Company, is recognized as one of North America’s leading providers of Digital Signage solutions.  We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Deployment Technician in our Burlington, Ontario office.

     

    In this role, you will complete various tasks by responding to phone calls and emails from customers and onsite technicians, setting up computer equipment for shipping to customers, and documenting solutions to problems. An ideal candidate will be passionate about providing our customers with excellent technical customer support.

     

    The candidate should be proficient with Windows operating system as well as having a natural talent for troubleshooting problems remotely, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers and teams across several internal departments.

     

    • Image and configure media players with appropriate IDs and static IP addresses.
    • Communicate regularly with external customers and installation teams.
    • Prepare and ship media players and additional equipment.
    • Using communication tools (Phone system, emails, Bomgar, IDM) to provide technical installation support via phone. Troubleshoot hardware failures as needed.
    • Complete required paperwork for both internal and external customers.
    • Remotely troubleshoot ADFLOW equipment through the user of the Bomgar Representative Console.
    • Participate in after hours on-call technical support rotation.
    • Provide onsite assistance with field installations as needed, approximate travel 5%.

    Qualifications

     

     

    • Three year Post Secondary Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred. Related degrees and two year Post Secondary diplomas considered.
    • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
    • Fluency in French will be considered a strong asset.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills.
    • Able to lift boxes up to 25lbs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Background check will be conducted.
    • Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.
    • Ability to travel in Canada and the United States.
    • Must be legally able to work in Canada at time of hire.
