    Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.


    The Process Technician will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Lead, and will work in support of Manufacturing Engineer(s) in this area. Standard work may include review of engineering prints, adherence to process standards, providing necessary documentation, populating routings, and recommending improvements. Overflow support for other Process Technicians may be required. This individual will also be expected to engage in continuous improvement activities within the factory.


    • First response to engineering issues:
      • BOM and/or drawing questions  
      • Work instruction clarification  
      • Assembly issues  
      • Production tooling/equipment issue
    • Execution of engineering changes (tooling, fixtures, work instructions, etc.)
    • Routing support for new product development and custom contracts.
    • Perform other validation tests specified by design or manufacturing engineering.
    • Assist in document maintenance (work instructions, standard work control plans, etc.).
    • Assist in time studies.
    • Assist in the design, build, and implementation of work stations, fixtures, tools, and jigs.
    • Communicate improvement ideas for strategic consideration.
    • Interact with a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and customer service employees in a positive professional manner.
    • Perform other duties as needed.




    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Robotics or Electronics Engineering Technology preferred. Enrolled in two or four-year Electronics Technology, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or similar Technical program and equivalent work experience may be considered.
    • Windchill/AutoCAD/Creo training or ability to learn.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, InfoPath, SharePoint, and Outlook.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to:
      • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
      • Distinguish and identify wire colors
      • Ability to work with odors (paint, adhesives, etc.
      • Ability to stand for the entirety of the shif
    • Become knowledgeable of company policies and procedures.

    • Become proficient in reading and understanding engineering design drawings.
    • Work effectively as a team member.
    • Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner.
    • Regularly and reliably work scheduled hours; have flexibility to work overtime as needed.
    • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English both written and verbal.
    • Background check will be conducted.
