    Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the Major Leagues.


    Daktronics is seeking a Dispatcher - Seasonal position to help meet our needs during the busy sports season. This position will last from approximately June 2018 through October 2018.  The Dispatcher - Seasonal works as part of the Field Services team. Field Services has the primary responsibility to provide onsite labor to install and service equipment out in the field on behalf of Daktronics.


    Customers and Events Daktronics supports:

    • Exciting major league customers such as the Minnesota Twins, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Wild, Arizona Diamondbacks, and many more.
    • Frequent domestic and international events such as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, 2008  Summer Olympics in Beijing, World Series baseball, Stanley Cup Hockey and many more.
    • International super centers including Arena Mexico.
    • A wide variety of other customers from shopping centers and casinos to airports, gas stations and digital billboards. 
    • As a Dispatcher - Seasonal you will:
    • Open and follow Daktronics’s Service Process Knowledge Base to complete tasks associated with Dispatching within Field Service.
    • Process Invoices from Service Partners and submit for payment.
    • Work effectively as a team member and communicate effectively across the organization.
    • Professionally answer incoming phone calls, prequalify and route the calls as necessary as well as assist customers as needed.
    • Be able to flex between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on demand.
    • Be asked to perform other duties as assigned. 



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, the technical field or related degree.
    • Reasonable knowledge of Daktronics product line or demonstrated ability to learn technical products quickly.
    • Above average computer skills experience with Microsoft Office and ability to conduct effective internet research.
    • Strong communication skills including written and verbal presentation negotiation and interpersonal. Fluent in English both written and verbal.
    • Capable of learning Go Service Pro and other software as needed. Keyboarding skills above 40 WPM.
    • Good analytical and organization skills required.
    • Self-motivated and ability to show initiative. Goal oriented with proven leadership capacity.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute according to plan as well as properly meet deadlines with little supervision.
    • Available to work evenings and/or weekends.  
    • Background check may be conducted.
