Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.


Position located in Brookings, South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a full-time student. Preferred candidate should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and at least 20 hours per week during the summer.


The EDA team in the IT department works with the engineering departments to support engineering content needs as well as support of the CAD applications. Windchill (PTC product) is a web based PLM application used to control engineering content created in AutoCAD, ProE, PADS, and other design applications.  Windchill also supports workflow, collaboration, and integrations into other enterprise applications such as ERP and SharePoint applications.  This position will support engineering users in daily processes and use of Windchill, mechanical CAD (MCAD) and electrical CAD (ECAD) systems. 


  • Support engineering staff in the day to day use of Windchill and MCAD/ECAD applications.
  • Trouble shoot issues concerning engineering applications, processes, and help users complete technical tasks.
  • Understand CAD applications and how they are used by engineering.
  • Work with EDA team, engineers, and external vendors to resolve problems.
  • Learn how to read, interpret and create documentation including: training materials, support documentation, and installation guides.
  • Work effectively as a team member; help when and where needed; make suggestions for process and product improvement; communicate effectively with team members. Complete quality work in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.


Academic Requirements –

  • The preferred candidate will be a full-time student currently enrolled in accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering or related degree
  • The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school
  • Only strong academic performers will be considered
  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA
  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
