Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.
Position located in Brookings, South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a full-time student. Preferred candidate should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and at least 20 hours per week during the summer.
Video Products consists of displays comprised of a large number of pixels capable of creating various levels of graphics animation text and controllers which manage the operating of the display. Within this product group, Daktronics supplies displays that are built on LED and reflective technologies forming pixels which create the images. This student position will assist with creating/reviewing packets reviewing LED inventory and assisting with production issues.
The Program Management group is primarily responsible for assisting the product development group and coordinating development activities to insure we meet our deadlines. They work daily with the manufacturing purchasing materials planning and scheduling groups. Some duties that the program management student would assist with would include:
