At Daktronics, our Personnel department focuses on developing employees and supervisors through recruiting, hiring, and training; we are also responsible for HR, policies, benefits, and payroll. We are currently seeking an Administrative Supervisor to join our team!
As an Administrative Supervisor for Personnel, your primary focus will be partnering with HR Coordinators and HR in supporting the strategic initiative of finding and retaining top talent. You will oversee the personnel students who support employee file management, time off entry, job and offer creation, data entry, and gathering of data for HR. You will also be responsible for managing candidate application information, data entry into our payroll system, answer phone calls into Personnel, and assist with other requests for the department. This individual will become knowledgeable in various areas of the Personnel department to develop an overall understanding of the department and company structure. We also continually strive for process improvement and value your opinion on how we can be more efficient and accurate.
We seek a candidate with strong self-motivation who can work both as a team player and independently with little supervision, and who has had leadership experiences. The ideal candidate will be proficient with computers, especially in Microsoft Office; have the capability to learn new programs quickly; and possess a range of other skills, including excellent communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
