Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.


Position located in Brookings South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a full-time student. Ideal candidate should be available to work approximately 15-20 hours a week during the academic year and at least 20 hours a week during the summer.


  • Provide support for the Learning Center. Tasks include:
    • Adding new online courses on the Learning Center.
    • Proofreading and making improvements to online presentations.
    • Scheduling instructor-led courses on the Learning Center.
    • Coordinating the Recording Studio schedule with presenters.
    • Assisting online presenters with the recording process.
  •  Provide support for training activities. Tasks include:
    • Maintain Training email account. Provide customer service to those inquiring.
    • Maintaining Book email account by filling requests.
    • Assisting with Employee Driven Education administration.
    • Assisting Learning Center Program Manager with training or admin duties.
    • Support all online training efforts at Daktronics including audio/video editing and online course creation
  • Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner. Inspect own work. Quickly learn new tasks. Accurately and consistently complete reoccurring tasks.
  • Communicate effectively as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed and make suggestions for process improvement.
  • Be at work on time and maintain good attendance.
  • Follow company guidelines and policies.



  • The preferred candidate will be a full-time student currently enrolled in accredited Bachelor’s degree program in human resources, education, economics, consumer affairs, mass communications, video productions. Only strong performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
  • The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
  • Only strong academic performers will be considered.
  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.


  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Be at work on time and maintain good attendance. Must regularly and reliably work scheduled hours.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow company guidelines and policies.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, self-motivation.
  • Background check may be conducted.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
