Have you seen the scoreboard in the gym at Redwood Valley High School? This scoreboard was constructed and assembled right here in Redwood Falls. This could be your opportunity to be a part of the bigger picture and have a hand in the creation of our products, such as in the new displays at the Vikings stadium or other businesses & sports venues worldwide. Daktronics is excited to partner with the Redwood Valley High School and we are offering opportunities to senior students who are interested in learning more about potential career opportunities after graduation. Students participating in the program will receive in-depth training in an area of focus, and have key responsibilities during their time in the program. The program will run for four months, with students working 1.5 hours/day on-site at our location in Redwood Falls, MN.
 
Daktronics has positions available in the following areas:
  • Electronic Assembly/Machine Technician
  • Metal Fabrication/Assembly/Paint
  • Final Assembly/Packaging/Logistics
  • Engineering
  • Business Management

Qualifications

  • Must be a Senior currently enrolled in Redwood Valley High School.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in manufacturing, business, engineering or technical work.
  • Ability to operate automated equipment and/or hand tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to:
    • work with some odors (solder/paint/coating)
    • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and/or awkward items.
    • Be able to stand for the full shift.
  • Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include the following: safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, electrostatic discharge wear and others determined necessary by Daktronics Risk and Safety Department.
  • Background check will be conducted.
